I can understand a mistake and I would have accepted an apology but this way of ruining your Sunday lunch is too much. Details: we arrive at about 12.30, as first customers, on a Sunday and ordered two "antipasto" and 2 dishes of pasta (one simple pasta for my 3 year old son) and a salad. After about 20 minutes of long waiting the two cold "antipasto" arrived and about 10 minutes later even the pasta of my son arrived. Everything quite acceptable at this point. However, waiting 30 more minutes without the other two ordered simple plates to arrive was too much. We asked the waitress to cancel the pasta plate because we could not wait that long (but we would still get the salad - my wife was about the leave the restaurant to play with my son). She said this is not possible and 10 minutes letter she brought the salad and the pasta plate. By the way, the couple that arrived after us was already about to finishing their fish plate. I ate the salad but left the pasta on a different table. Then when I went to pay the bill (and waited 5 minutes standing) I asked not to pay for the pasta plate that arrived too late.
