Everything about this place is what you should expect from a traditional Italian restaurant. The carbonara was exceptional, as was all the food on both visits. The team here are both welcoming and friendly. Thank you for looking after us and also putting up with my basic Italian. Grazie mille

Great little dinner location, tucked away from the busier street. Authentic Rome food at really good prices. The specials were also great and the food is clearly locally sourced. Happy to accommodate allergies as well.

Perfect classic typical restaurant. I felt like I was eating dishes peeper by grandmother, and in a good way. Food delicious, bread tasty, wine chilled, prices reasonable. A gem in touristy crowded Rome.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Incredible food and incredible atmosphere. Service was a little slow and they forgot to bring my wine, which is why I gave that part four stars, but still an excellent, excellent stop on our trip to Rome. Highly recommend stopping here. The cacio e Pepe was great and so was the tiramisu.

La verdad que no puedo decir más que qué maravilla de lugar, desde nuestro hotel nos invitaron a cenar allí y hicimos bien en aceptar la invitación ya que tanto la comida como el servicio fue maravilloso.

Super loving this restaurant. Tons of locals go there for food, you know it is excellent then. Love everything they offer. Owner is very good looking, kind and honest. We were the only foreigners dining there during the late lunch, the service we received was fantastic! Owner is so nice and gave us some Italian cookies which are delicious. Love lov...

Love love love this place!!! If you are in Rome, have to go and experience! :-). (BTW, I didn’t see fat people in Rome though they eat a lot of carbs. What’s wrong with American food system?)

BEST CARBONARA EVER! This restaurant had the BEST carbonara I have ever had. Already tried this dish at many different Italian restaurants but THIS is hands down the most delicious. And it’s all to do with the Guanciale (Pork jaw/cheeks) and the way they prepared/cooked. Perfect!

Very belated review. My wife and I ate here last summer on our first night in Rome. We were worn out, and we didn't want to venture far from our hotel. We wandered in here, and we were well taken care of. The staff were amazing. We opted to share a salad, pizza (we know it's bad manners to share a pizza, you should each get your own, but we we...

We wandered in here, and we were well taken care of. The staff were amazing. We opted to share a salad, pizza (we know it's bad manners to share a pizza, you should each get your own, but we were too tired), and a carafe of wine. I'd gladly go back here (which we probably will when we venture back next Spring).

I could have 2 plates if I wasn't already stuffed! I ordered house red wine and it was good too, I'm not a huge wine person and I'm not sure what pairs well with the dish but eit...
