This is my second visit to I Pulalli. Truly this is the finest restaurant in Capri and maybe all of Italy. The service! (Thank you Pietro!) The location! (Center of the Piazzetta!) The food! This is my second visit to I Pulalli. Truly this is the finest restaurant in Capri and maybe all of Italy. The service! (Thank you Pietro!) The location! (Center of the Piazzetta!) The food! (5 star!) My husband and I shared the tomato mozzarella salad, served with the best olive oil and balsamic we have had in Italy. Then the special Cacio e Pepe pasta and the pasta with clams. Both entrees were perfection, but the tiny clams with the lemon essence and the perfectly cooked pasta were the best I've ever had. Tiramisu for dessert and a fantastic bottle of white wine recommended by Pietro and we were in gastronomic heaven. Some have written reviews that i pulalli is touristy. I couldn't disagree more strongly. It is fantastic, and I do not say that lightly. Do not miss this opportunity to experience the best of Italy. Book your table subito! And if you can get the balcony table or a table outside, all the better. Buon appetito!

Der Service professionell und freundlich, die Location sehr schön, für eine besondere Feier, kann man einen Tisch am Balkon reservieren, das Essen sehr gut und endlich dezente Weingläser ( Riedel Superleggero), die in den restlichen Restaurants nicht zu finden sind.

Otroligt ställe! Härlig, fräsch atmosfär med otroligt vällagad mat som inte är för mycket eller för lite. Varje detalj är genomtänkt, glasen, stolarna, uppläggen med maten. Starkt starkt rekommenderat att komma hit!

The food was delicious, the view was amazing and we loved to hear the capri, bells ringing in such close proximity. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. Shout out to my friend Salvatore.

We have been to Capri three times but have never dined at Pulalli until this trip. I am so glad that we found it! We had an amazing table overlooking the bustling Piazetta and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The Earth Salad was amazing and was comprised of fresh mixed greens and tomatoes, chick peas, pumpkin seeds and an olive puree. One of my top 5 salads ever. I had the ravioli which was incredible and very filling and my husband had the special which was fettuccine with clams and other fish. Everything was perfect, the setting spectacular and we absolutely loved it. One of our favorite restaurants ever in Bella Capri!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and we were truly impressed by the warm hospitality. A special thanks to Sabio and Salvatore, who took such great care of us throughout our visit, making us feel very welcome. Our waitress, whose name unfortunately I can’t recall at the moment, also provided outstanding service with great professionalism and kindness. The food was simply delicious — every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. On top of that, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Thank you to the whole team for making our time here so memorable!

Abbiamo trovato questo locale su Internet, colpiti dalle numerose recensioni positive e dalle foto molto invitanti. L’ingresso è molto suggestivo, quasi nascosto, devi percorrere delle scale per arrivare al ristorante. Il cibo veramente ottimo, menzione speciale al polpo, pesce molto tenero e piatto veramente ricco. Un altro dettaglio non da poco è...

Abbiamo trovato questo locale su Internet, colpiti dalle numerose recensioni positive e dalle foto molto invitanti. L’ingresso è molto suggestivo, quasi nascosto, devi percorrere delle scale per arrivare al ristorante. Il cibo veramente ottimo, menzione speciale al polpo, pesce molto tenero e piatto veramente ricco. Un altro dettaglio non da poco è la disponibilità di cucina senza glutine, di una qualità che non trovi praticamente da nessuna parte, tra cui pasta fresca e dolci. Il personale super gentile, in particolare abbiamo conosciuto Salvatore con cui abbiamo scambiato due chiacchiere prima del dolce. Se mai dovessimo ritornare a Capri, credo proprio che questa diventerà tappa fissa!

De los mejores pulpos que he comido en mi vida, muy recomendado y la ensalada la recomiendo también. El Hugo le da un toque la mora muy original. Y sin olvidar la atención genial 10/10 no pueden irse de Capri sin venir aquí. Salvatore el mejor que nos recibió siempre pendiente de nosotros

Uno dei piatti che ho sempre preso, l’insalata mista con germogli e hummus, è stata molto deludente. Premesso che questo ristorante è da sempre stato una tappa fissa di ogni anno da quando veniamo in vacanza qui, quest’anno è stato una cocente delusione. Uno dei piatti che ho sempre preso, l’insalata mista con germogli e hummus, è stata molto deludente. Per 22 euro una insalata mista, sporcata con un po’ di humus che si faceva fatica a vedere e a gustare. Un piatto a base di polpo, per 28 euro tre fettine da 3mm di spessore per 3 cm di lunghezza di tentacolo, nascosti nella stessa insalata e hummus presi per antipasto. Non dico il costo totale perché assolutamente ingiustificato per ciò che abbiamo mangiato. Dopo tanti anni mettiamo a malincuore una croce sopra questo locale. Va bene tutto, ma raggirati no.

Finalmente il cambiamento è in atto. Questo ristorante, forse uno dei primi e il promotore di quel cambiamento di cui quest’isola aveva bisogno. Giovani proprietari e giovani gli chef, lontanissimo da tutti quei ristoranti e ristoratori che impongono un’eleganza tra l’altro non fornita e ormai superata, che cercano con grande impegno e riuscendoc...

Finalmente il cambiamento è in atto. Questo ristorante, forse uno dei primi e il promotore di quel cambiamento di cui quest’isola aveva bisogno. Giovani proprietari e giovani gli chef, lontanissimo da tutti quei ristoranti e ristoratori che impongono un’eleganza tra l’altro non fornita e ormai superata, che cercano con grande impegno e riuscendoci a fornire materie prime, piatti innovativi, gentilezza, accoglienza a tutti quei clienti che scelgono questi posti. L’era di quei ristoranti impostati, da una finta eleganza e dalla finta gentilezza che poi si tramutano in prezzi triplicati negli ultimi anni è ormai finita. E poi ci si lamenta che l’isola è vuota? E poi ci si lamenta che l’isola è solamente piena di mordi e fuggi? Soprattutto fuggi fuggi? Complimenti al Pulalli come anche a ristoranti giovani in zone limitrofe (es. Pedro), che finalmente stanno cominciando a prendere il sopravvento offrendo comunque qualità eccelse, materie prime scelte e piatti di altissima qualità. Non per ultima, l’accoglienza, la parola data, la gentilezza che un cliente gradisce quando sceglie il posto dove trascorrere una bella serata. Complimenti, e largo ai giovani.!!!

We had been to this place in the clock tower at La Piazzetta a couple of years ago, and they are still excellent, so I just recycle my previous review. Bad news first: you should make your reservation as early as possible, preferably days in advance. There is only one table for two on a tiny balcony with sea view, and a few tables on the terrace overlooking La Piazzetta. The intimate indoor dining room offers splendid views of Monte Solaro and the Bay of Naples, but in Italian summer you probably prefer to have dinner outside. The Pulalli team serves excellent food, of course all kind of seafood, but also wonderful Risotto al Limone or Pasta with zucchini and zucchini blossom. Everything is fresh and homemade. Lovely atmosphere and people. One of the best places for lunch or dinner we found in Capri. This is a real gem.
