Aspetti positivi: posizione (molto vicina alla stazione dei pullman e al centro di Taormina), pulizia, panorama nelle stanze lato mare, cortesia del personale Aspetti negativi: molte parti raggiungibili solo con scale (ingresso e accesso ai piani, in parte), prezzo (elevato per settembre, anche se siamo a Taormina)

We very much enjoyed our stay. This hotel is in a great location. The view from the room was breath taking and the service from the hotel staff superb. The rooms are great, breakfast was great. There were some nice touches like the beach towels and the 24 x 7 bar service, with the evening happy hour making the prices very reasonable and a great terrace to sit and enjoy the drinks. Even the parking wasn’t as difficult as we thought as we parked in the Porta Pasquale car park. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this hotel for two days. The rich and vibrant history of the hotel is inspiring as is the decor and architecture. It’s incredibly well located, close to the cable car, porta messina, all the good restaurants too. The rooms are some of the best cleaned rooms we have ever seen. The staff from the beginning to the end are super nice to everyone. They keep you well informed about the area and what you can do and know the best restaurants and the people to contact for the activities. Breakfast is really excellent. There is so much good quality, healthy breakfast and they also serve gluten free which is a lifesaver. The grounds and terraces of the hotel provide insane views over Taormina and the sea and incredible photo opportunities. Mario, William, Antonella, Massimo, Fabio and Pietro are the nicest, most accommodating people you will ever meet.

Just past that, you’ll enter the Main Street of the town, so all the sights are close by. The bus depot is just down the road. Making it super easy to get there from the train station. Had a sea view room which was amazing. Room was super clean and spacious for everything required. Breakfast was absolutely amazing! It was all locally cooked and tasted amazing! Would also suggest happy hour, cheap drinks before dinner, the staff were once again so helpful and attentive PS, make sure to say hello to the hotel cat! It is very friendly and loves the scratches!

This is such a gem! From the location to the staff. I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and so did my friends. I opted for a room with a view and I’m glad I did. I will never be tired of looking at the sea from my balcony. The location is fantastic as it is within a walking distance to many attractions. Although it is a stone throw away from the hustle and bustle, it is very quiet. The breakfast is well prepared with variety of selection. The receptionists are very helpful. Mario specifically has provided us with great recommendations. The housemaids were very thorough and always available to help. Thank you to all staff for making my stay memorable.

Special thanks to the staff for being so helpful with answering questions and providing recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in the area. Abbiamo soggiornato a La pensione Svizzera il 3 agosto. Devo dire, abbastanza soddisfatta. Personale gentilissimo, camere pulite e una buona colazione. Posizione ottima. Raggiungibile a piedi il centro storico e il teatro greco antico, solo 5 minuti. Consigliatissimo

Una buona pensione in posizione comoda perché praticamente in centro e a pochi metri dalla funivia che porta al mare , Taormina è molto caotica anche nel mese di giugno e la pensione come la maggior parte degli alberghi trovandosi sulla strada ha la camera rumorosa e ti costringe a dormire con finestre chiuse e aria condizionata accesa . Purtoppo l...

Una buona pensione in posizione comoda perché praticamente in centro e a pochi metri dalla funivia che porta al mare , Taormina è molto caotica anche nel mese di giugno e la pensione come la maggior parte degli alberghi trovandosi sulla strada ha la camera rumorosa e ti costringe a dormire con finestre chiuse e aria condizionata accesa . Purtoppo la camera aveva lo split davanti al letto posizione da evitare assolutamente e che dovrebbero sistemare , la camera nel complesso poi era valida , la posizione è molto bella dato che il giardino è la veranda dove si effettuano le colazioni e vista mare , la colazione un po’ scarsa come qualità e quantità .

This hotel was perfect for exploring Taormina. Short walk to the cable car or bus station. The walk to Corso Umberto is a few minutes uphill but easily done if walking is ok for you. The breakfast is fabulous with plenty of choice of good food. The staff at the breakfast area are brilliant also, making our stay a pleasure. It's a very nice atmosphere in and around the Hotel. Our room on 3rd flr had a lovely view of the sea and was kept beautifully clean. Well done to the cleaner, she was great. We are very pleased to have stayed at this Hotel. My wife loved the hotel cat - Opella, a beautiful well behaved friendly cat. Thanks again to all at Hotel Pensione Svizzera.
