One of the best meals I’ve had and I lived in Italy for 2.5 years. My main dish was sea bass filled with seafood on a bed of puréed potatoes. So flavorful!

Εξαιρετικό φαγητό τοπικές γεύσεις. Ειδικα το risotto που μας πρόσφερε ήταν τέλειο. Για τους λάτρεις του κρασιού υπάρχουν πολλές και αξιόλογες επιλογές.

The owner of this restaurant is so kind and he really made it a special night for us. The food is delicious and the ambiance is cozy and intimate. We even had a serenade during our meal. We would definitely come back.

His infectious energy and warm hospitality made this a highlight of our trip. We were joined by another pleasant couple, whose company added to the convivial atmosphere. The class began with a delightful tour of Taormina, where Gianluca introduced us to the local culture through stops at a bustling market, a charming embroidery shop (where we received custom aprons), a delectable gelato shop, and a traditional pastry shop. This immersive start set the perfect tone for the day. In the kitchen, we crafted an incredible meal from scratch, including fresh fish, homemade pasta, and a mouthwatering eggplant Parmesan, all using the freshest ingredients. Gianluca’s guidance was both expert and engaging, making the cooking process fun and approachable. We savored our creations paired with a delightful bottle of wine, elevating the experience to pure bliss. A special highlight was tasting Gianluca’s organic olive oil, produced from his own olive orchard, which added a rich, authentic flavor to our dishes. The combination of Gianluca’s enthusiasm, the hands-on cultural tour, and the delicious food made this cooking class an unforgettable five-star experience. It’s not a place, it’s gastronomical experience. A rare Perl of Taormina. The food insane. The compliments with an extremely tasty olive oil and warm bread; soup from strawberry and tomato, served with goat cheese. And continue with my choice of zucchini flowers and tartar from tuna. This is a place where I wanted to stay and come back.

Posto chic e piatti meravigliosi tradizionale ( leggermente rivisitati in chiave moderna). Personale gentile, proprietario attento ad ogni nostra esigenza. Molto interessante la scelta dei vini. Grazie ancora per averci fatto accomodare alle 23.00, dopo che altro ristoranti non ci hanno nemmeno lasciato chiedere. Consigliatissimo.

The dishes are creative and delicious, made with locally sourced and fresh ingredients, while the vibe is elevated, calm, and relaxing. Thank you to the wonderful Gianluca and his excellent staff. Also - if you are looking for a way to experience the town authentically and like a local would, while also learning how to make a 3 course Sicilian meal, the cooking class with the accompanying tour was our favorite experience in Taormina.
