We are very experienced travellers and used to stop in different hotels and being in Hotel Du Lac & SPA we felt like we stopped in a 5 stars hotel. Everything was beyond our expectations. The location was very good and the views the hotel offers were gorgeous. Our room was always super clean. The breakfast had excellent variety and the staff was caring and helpful. I would like particularly to thank Ganga for looking after me, her attention to my wishes. All receptionists were extremely helpful as well and very friendly but Sara was just amazing. She helped us with everything we needed. Huge THANKS to all of you making our holiday SUPER special!!! Liza and Daniel.

First trip ever to a hotel in Italy. Knowing that there would be differences between hotels in Italy and the U.S. I would say that this was a fine hotel to stay at if you visit Bellagio. Staff and amenities where excellent. Missed some conveniences that U.S. have but overall a good time.

If we could have put 6 stars, we would ! Wonderful overall experience. Helpful, smiling and professionnal staff from the reception to the cleaning team. Thank you very much for everything, you all made our stay an exquisite experience! My only complaint : I wish I could stayed longer - 3 nights were not enough !

The hotel is a very popular area and the view is awesome. Our room faced the lake and was a great place to spend 3 days of our 46th Anniversary trip to Italy. Would suggest you book early as this is a unique boutique hotel. The staff made you feel like family.

Hotel Du Lac is an amazing hotel! Everything about this place is top notch. Everything from the staff at breakfast, cleanliness of the rooms, the Terrance bar and especially the folks at the front desk could not have been more accommodating. Mr Graziano Paola and his staff at the front desk were wonderful. They answered all of our questions in detail, were very knowledgeable about all the boat transportation and which dock to get the boat at. They even had schedules for all the transportation lines around the lake and helped you decide which boat and time worked best for you. The Hotel Du Lac made our Bellagio trip one that will always be remembered. I would recommend a room with a view of the lake to any traveler!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Du Lac and would absolutely stay here again! The staff was very kind and competent, and the concierge services in particular were fantastic--they were able to book in-demand dinner reservations for us that I hadn't been able to make on my own (and during quite a busy time of the season)! They were very accommodating and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and transit as well. The hotel is beautiful and right on the water, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were updated and well-kept. We loved taking breakfast on the terrace overlooking the water (the buffet was actually quite good and had lots of options), and the hotel bar had a great view as well. We also loved the hotel restaurant on the ground floor patio--we never ate a full meal there, but we often got drinks and snacks and sat watching the ferries come in and out. (Did I mention that the hotel is steps away from the ferry station? Incredibly convenient!) The ground floor terrace in particular seemed very popular; it was always lively and the waitstaff were friendly and attentive. On one evening they hosted "Negroni Night," with a special menu of drinks and bites paying homage to the Negroni, complete with live music--it was so much fun! We also loved relaxing after a day of activities in the spa, which is open to all guests for no extra charge (sauna, steam room, and whirlpool). They say you have to make a reservation, but in practice this just means dropping by the reception desk and letting them know what time you want to go. They deliver robes, sandals, and towels to your room ahead of your time slot, and there were hardly ever other guests there at the same time as us. I'm very glad we decided to stay in Bellagio: it's absolutely beautiful and full of good restaurants, and if you want to visit any other towns on the lake, it's very easy to go by ferry or even bus (although the ferries between Bellagio and Como book out very quickly during the high season). On the day of our arrival in Como, the ferries to Bellagio were already sold out but the hotel reception advised us to take the C30 bus, which ended up being very doable (they run hourly and you can use Apple Pay to board, it was 4 euro or so). It's a little over an hour's ride and drops you off about 5 mins walk from the hotel, and if I could do it over I would have skipped trying for the ferry entirely and gone straight for the bus. Overall, I highly recommend! I think staying here elevated our trip to Lake Como from amazing to unforgettable, and all things considered, you get a lot of value for your money at this hotel.

We have just returned to the UK from a week in Bellagio staying at the Hotel Du Lac. From the moment we stepped into the very stylish reception area we were met by a very warm welcoming from the reception team. Totally organised, efficient and so helpful they helped to make our stay so very special. Our room was truly amazing with a very spacious terrace area with unbelievable views of the lake and area. Our outstanding room was comfortable, spacious and always impeccably clean - as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and always plentiful served in the restaurant and on its terrace with fantastic lakeside views. A lot of the hotel guests seemed to stay for only a few nights - Big Mistake! Our week flew past in this remarkable hotel and it was a week which we shall always treasure. A beautiful hotel with a first rate team deserving of 6 stars! We shall return! From arrival to departure, we were treated not just as guests, but as welcomed friends. The front desk team was consistently warm, attentive, and helpful, assisting with dining reservations and boat tour arrangements with ease and genuine hospitality. Breakfast was served in a dedicated room with a well-organized buffet and additional made-to-order options. It was a relaxed and refined way to start each day. Dont miss the cocktails on the rooftop - excellent mixologist with stunning views - particularly at sunset. The location couldn’t be better — right on the lake, steps from shops, restaurants, and scenic walks through town. While the train station isn’t nearby, a short cab ride made transfers easy. We would absolutely stay here again and confidently recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Como.

The whole experience from checking in to checking out was faultless. The staff were very friendly and helpful through out the whole stay. The location is great - close to the ferry terminal and many restaurants. Our room was large with a great bathroom and very well maintained. The staff were just brilliant. We had lot of questions and ask for a lot of advice (especially on restaurants) every recommendation we were given was brilliant. We ate at one or two places that we found ourselves but the experience was very poor in comparison to the restaurants recommended by the hotel team. The roof top bar is excellent with amazing views - perfect way to start an evening. We were fortunate enough to be there when the hotel and its bar/restaurant put on a negroni night, which was amazing. They served different types of negronis and had live music outside the restaurant. It felt like half of Bellagio was there dancing and signing till midnight. We had a wonderful time and we will be back.

After the first night, they already knew our drinks order as soon as we sat down. It's a lovely hotel in a perfect location!
