Incredible stay! Tomasso at the front desk is extradinary. He would sketch up the local maps each day and tell us how to walk through Rome--down to the stoplights. Incredible stay! Tomasso at the front desk is extradinary. He would sketch up the local maps each day and tell us how to walk through Rome--down to the stoplights. The service staff in the breakfast room each morning were delightful. The rooftop bar (Lucca is your man there) was a rare treat and in my opinion a bonus at the affordable rates of this hotel. There was not one wrinkle in the whole stay. They handed us water as we went out each day into the sun. location was close to everything, including metro and train. Walk a few blocks and catch the hop on hop off bus, 2 blocks to a metro station...just a wonderful experience. Would have no hesitation recommending this hotel. Spotlessly clean. Rooms are a little on the small side, but the service and location/amenties are worth it. Quiet at night. Great sleep.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Colosseum very much. The transportation services they offer to and from the airport but also from the port to the airport after our Cruise was great. Very Friendly and Helpful Staff. We would definitely stay here again.

It is a nice hotel nearby attractions, basically we could walk to visit the most of places, Central Meto/train station is about 10-15 minutes walk distance so if need to take Metra or train. We had excellent experience in this hotel. The staff are so friendly especially Tomas in the front desk he had so much of humor and very hospitable. The location is great. You can just walked around from beautiful places like colloseum, trevi and many more. The view at the rooftop are fantastic.

Our final stay in Rome after a great tour of the country. This hotel was tucked away on a quiet side street with a view of the Santa Maria Maggiore Cathedral. Great rooms, Great service and a fabulous rooftop bar with views that are unforgettable.

Although 3-star hotel, the service there is definitely worth a 4 or even 5 star hotel. The staff interaction was professional yet made you feel warm and personal. Although 3-star hotel, the service there is definitely worth a 4 or even 5 star hotel. The staff interaction was professional yet made you feel warm and personal. Location is great, within several minutes walk to the nearest metro station and close distance to tourist sites like the Colosseum and other places of interest can be reached easily on foot or by metro/buses. The room itself is comfortable and without any complain, with the exception of very limited space of the shower room and no refrigerator. However, these are just slight inconveniences compared to the good service, location, and the comfort of the room overall.

The staff was more than polite and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved hanging out on the rooftop bar with a glass of prosecco and seeing the city. Breakfast was great, too.

We have just had a three night break at the Colosseum and we were very pleased with our experience. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms well equipped. The breakfasts were very good , with a wide range of items to choose from. The scrambled eggs were probably the best I've had in a hotel. The hotel is in a very good location , the majority of the most visited places in Rome are within walking distance. One other bonus is the lovely rooftop bar a very pleasant experience after a tiring day in Rome. May I also say how very helpful all of the staff were, notably tomaso who happily gave us detailed directions and tips for restaurants that proved to be very good. They also kindly arranged transfers to and from the airport for us. When I am in Rome again I will most certainly be staying at this hotel

This place was perfect for our family. Everyone here is so friendly!! We stayed 3 nights but I wish we could have stayed a week. They went above and beyond to help us in any way. Literally home yesterday from our weekend at the Hotel Colloseum. Wonderful location with the most stunning roof terrace/ bar. Catch the sunset from there to the sound of church bells ringing and sip a glass of something chilled and special - made by the lovely Luca. Rooms are traditional but comfy. Shower is great! As is aircon, which we were very glad of during our stay. Breakfast and room cleaning both great and customer care outstanding. My husband left his phone on charge when we left for the airport 🫣 and the hotel arranged for it to be delivered to us by their shuttle service. Thankyou Marco. Thankyou ALL . Would I stay there again? Absolutely.

This place is so close to all major attractions. The colosseum, the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain is all within a 20 min, or less, walking distance. The hotel is clean and cute; and the staff is SO nice and helpful. Overall, I would give the a 5 star

Small hotel in ideal location for accessing the sights of Rome - about 20 minutes walk to the Colosseum etc. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was the best we have ever had! Room was small and a bit dated but perfectly adequate although the shower was a bit of a squeeze! The rooftop terrace was perfect for a couple of drinks when we returned after our evening meal and the views were outstanding. Have to give a special mention to the staff especially Tomasso on reception and the bar tender on the roof terrace. Would stay there again if we returned after our to Rome.

This is a smallish hotel with some big features. While the rooms can feel a bit tight, the reception area, the breakfast space and the wonderful rooftop bar are roomier. The staff is great - exceptionally accommodating and helpful. Very pleasant hotel in a good location.

La salle de bain, avec sa douche à l’italienne et ses produits haut de gamme, était un régal. Bonus : l’isolation phonique parfaite, même en plein cœur de Rome ! L’emplacement près du Colisée est idéal pour un jeune qui as du mal à ce repérer , et le service était irréprochable – souriant et hyper pro. Un hôtel de renom qui vaut chaque centime, parfait pour un séjour inoubliable !

The location worked well for us, we walk a lot, and found it easy to get places. Never felt uneasy in the area. If we go back to Rome again this is where we would stay.
