This hotel is a must, if you want to be a stones throw away from the Leaning Tower and in the heart of the city. We had a one night stay in Pisa and were delighted that we selected this hotel to stay in. It is around a 3 minute walk to the base of the leaning tower and as you leave the hotels main entrance you are on the main street in Pisa, where you can find restaurants shops and bars. The room was very comfortable (although our view from the room was terrible). The bathroom was well stocked and the beds were comfortable and the shower worked well. The hotel is not a modern hotel, but its not tired and not in need of repair, it has character. There were a few issues with the fire alarm going off, but this didn't impact our stay. Breakfast was fine and sets you up for the day. The staff were friendly and polite. As we were leaving the hotel, they offered to take us to the train station - it cost €15 which was a little pricey (compared to a taxi). There is a taxi rank a minute walk from the hotel. One thing that you must do if staying here, is visit the roof top restaurant/bar. The prices are ok but the view of the Leaning Tower at night is amazing. We had a relaxing drink taking in the amazing site.

Vista spettacolare su tutta la città, ma principalmente mozzafiato sulla fantastica Torre e Piazza dei Miracoli. L'ambiente elegante e raffinato è una grande terrazza chiusa a vetri ed una parte aperta...

Ho mangiato lunedi scorso a cena con mia moglie al ristorante posizionato all'ultimo piano, ed aperto anche ai clienti che non soggiornano in Hotel. Vista spettacolare su tutta la città, ma principalmente mozzafiato sulla fantastica Torre e Piazza dei Miracoli. L'ambiente elegante e raffinato è una grande terrazza chiusa a vetri ed una parte aperta, ideale nel periodo estivo. La qualità del cibo veramente elevata con prodotti molto freschi, servizio ottimo e professionale. Complimenti al personale di sala e, particolare apprezzamento allo staff di cucina. Bravissimi.

This is a lovely hotel. It's very well situated, close to The Leaning Tower & Duomo complex. We had a room with a view of the Tower, it was perfect. The bar/restaurant on the upper level has an amazing view of the Tower. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are very nice and helpful. The receptionist gave us lots of tips for things to do and places to eat, excellent. It's on a beautiful road which has a lot of ambience, restaurants and shops. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel when in Pisa.

M family and I stayed here one night as we had to fly from Pisa after a family wedding. Our flight wasn’t until 6pm, check out was at 11am. The hotel checked our luggage into storage space ready to be collected later, no charge. This ment we could enjoy our last day of vacation sightseeing without dragging our luggage around. The hotel checked our luggage into storage space ready to be collected later, no charge. This ment we could enjoy our last day of vacation sightseeing without dragging our luggage around. There are roof terraces where you can sunbath and enjoy views of the tower and surrounding area. Two supermarkets right outside the hotel and a gelato store. Central location. Would highly recommend.

Set in a brilliant location a few minutes walk from the leaning tower. Plenty of restaurants offering indoor and outdoor dining scattered around the streets. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had booked a standard room with no view and were delighted to have French doors that opened to a Juliet balcony. Ok the view was of other roofs but ...

Set in a brilliant location a few minutes walk from the leaning tower. Plenty of restaurants offering indoor and outdoor dining scattered around the streets. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had booked a standard room with no view and were delighted to have French doors that opened to a Juliet balcony. Ok the view was of other roofs but we didn’t mind. There is a lovely relaxing seating area on floor 4 and a rooftop restaurant at floor 5. You can only dine indoors which is a pity. Drinks are served on the outdoor tables.

Il personale alla reception non è gentilissimo né disponibile. Una grandissima delusione. Ti apostrofano con sufficienza, se non addirittura con disprezzo. Attenzione al cliente veramente scarsa. Mi aspettavo di piu.

Great situation very near tower complex. Book a city view room for the views-fabulous. Try the roof top terrace restaurant excellent food and drinks. Large portions, served with lots of smiles. No waiters peering over your shoulders all the time. Cocktails on the terrace very reasonably priced and huge!! Very helpful staff and for once a local map ...

We stayed for 2 nights and the location is amazing. A short 2 min walk to the tower and cathedral and can see them from the rooms window. Lots of bars close to the hotel and it was a brilliant place for exploring. The rooftop terrace at night was just a perfect setting. Great central location for exploring Pisa and other towns nearby, as its only a 20 minute walk from the Pisa Central train station. Hotel staff were lovely and the room was clean. The breakfast buffet and the upstairs restaurant were great. The view on the terrace was beautiful! Will definitely be coming back!

If you are visiting Pisa the best place to stay is here! The moment you arrive the staff are so welcoming and friendly with lots of knowledge about the area. The room was perfect 😍 spotlessly clean and loads of space for clothes. Open the doors and look to the right and there is the Leaning Tower!! Stocked fridge with 6 different juices and bottle...

Stocked fridge with 6 different juices and bottles of water. Air con was fab and not too noisy. Breakfast was superb..lots of choice and all fresh…coffee was amazing 🤩 If your flight is later the staff keep your luggage once you’ve checked out so you can spend another few hours enjoying the town. The location of the hotel is fab as everything is right on your doorstep! The rooftop area is amazing with fantastic views so that’s a must! Booking again for next year! 😍

Lovely character hotel Close to the tower. Our room was clean and comfortable the air conditioning was great. The buffet style break fast was plentiful. Staff very friendly. Can’t fault it and would definitely visit again!!

Tuttavia, al di là della posizione, la struttura avrebbe bisogno di un serio rinnovamento: gli ambienti risultano un po' datati e anche la co...

Sono tornato a Pisa dopo diversi anni e ho trovato una città assai vivace e affollata di turisti. L’hotel in cui ho soggiornato gode indubbiamente di una posizione eccezionale, davvero centralissima e comoda. Tuttavia, al di là della posizione, la struttura avrebbe bisogno di un serio rinnovamento: gli ambienti risultano un po' datati e anche la colazione dovrebbe essere migliorata sia in varietà che in qualità. Con un po’ di attenzione in più ai dettagli e qualche aggiornamento, potrebbe offrire un'esperienza decisamente migliore e in linea con le quattro stelle... Al momento, purtroppo, mi sento di non consigliarlo.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The booking in process was easy and the staff very helpful. There are two lifts which we had no problems with. Our rooms were a good size at the front of the hotel. The beds are large and very comfortable. The bathroom is a good size with shower toilet and bidet. We used the roof top bar twice for drinks. Beautiful...

The drinks are a bit expensive and the staff attention could be better. Our second visit took us a long time to be served and they weren’t busy. Transfer from the airport takes 15-20 minutes and costs about €20. We got the hotel transfer on our return which cost €20 and is very efficient. The hotel is situated on a Main Street with lots of cafes and bars. You can walk to the train station in about 20-30 minutes or the hotel transport will take you for €15.

Pur capendo che è una struttura retro' e che avrebbe bisogno di un po' di rinnovamento...abbiamo voluto io e mio marito dare 5 stelle perché la posizione è fantastica ...il locale è pulitissimo...il personale gentilissimo....aperitivo e cene al terrazzo con vista piazza dei miracoli...tramonto con sfondo torre pendente....e poi anche il garage...ot...

Just returned from a few days in Pisa staying at this lovely hotel. We really enjoyed Pisa and staying here was the perfect location. The hotel may be a little dated but we thought that added to it's charm. Like stepping back in time to when things were better made. Everything was comfortable, well made and worked. Just returned from a few days in Pisa staying at this lovely hotel. We really enjoyed Pisa and staying here was the perfect location. The hotel may be a little dated but we thought that added to it's charm. Like stepping back in time to when things were better made. Everything was comfortable, well made and worked. Beautiful large bed and a bathroom that didn't have a leaky shower! (Makes a nice change) The juliette balcony with view of the tower was a bonus. The breakfast choice was great. Loved the fresh fruit, yoghurts and choice of bread rolls, cheese and meats. There was cereals, cakes, eggs, bacon, sausage which looked good although not what I chose to eat. Really good cup of tea and choice of coffees. The rooftop terrace (for guests only) was amazing. A great place to see the tower and watch the sunset with a drink. The real asset of the hotel is the staff who are all so friendly, hard working, knowledgeable and helpful. Easy to get to Lucca from here from small station ( Pisa San Rossore) near the Piazza Dei Miracoli. Much easier than walking to the Central Station. I hope to return someday.

We have just returned home after a 4 night break and what a few days we've had. The hotel staff from checking in were lovely. We had read some mixed reviews of the hotel before arriving but our rooms were excellent, spotlessly clean and had everything you would need. The location for the Pisa sights was excellent, everything from the Tower to the cathedral and all museums on your doorstep. We travelled to Florence for the day and walked and walked all over Pisa, restuarants galore on the doorstep too, we would definitely return and stay at this hotel again as we couldn't fault anything, thanks to all at the Duomo Hotel...we will be back.
