From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Luca, the owner, along with Andre and Gino, who made us feel like family. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic — exactly what you hope to find in Venice. The food is on another level. The baccalà was perfectly creamy and flavorful, the sea bass was cooked to perfection, and the pasta with crab sauce was simply out of this world — rich, delicate, and unforgettable. Service was attentive but never rushed, and Luca’s passion for his restaurant and his guests shines through in every detail. This isn’t just dinner — it’s an experience you’ll remember long after you’ve left Venice. They had a beautiful patio, excellent food and prices and a large wine list. My wife’s gnocchi with meat sauce melted in her mouth. My black sea bass was the best I have ever had. It was very tender and flavorful and melted in your mouth. The whole, cooked fish was brought to our table and the waiter took the plate and stood behind us and filleted the fish. I was then served the fully plated entrée with only the filets. We finished our meal with some Italian cookies and a dessert wine. I also had an espresso. Great service, food and ambiance.

Scelto perché certificato A.I.C. - celiachia ( tra i pochissimi in città), è stata una bella scoperta : bel giardino interno, buone specialità veneziane , ottimi piatti senza glutine … e ciliegina sulla torta un collaboratore , Giancarlo, che ha reso una bella serata , ancora più piacevole.

Scelto perché certificato A.I.C. - celiachia ( tra i pochissimi in città), è stata una bella scoperta : bel giardino interno, buone specialità veneziane , ottimi piatti senza glutine … e ciliegina sulla torta un collaboratore , Giancarlo, che ha reso una bella serata , ancora più piacevole.

En nous balladant , nous avions repere ce rewtaurant. 2 j apres nous avons reserve poour 21h00 et nous avons ete surpris de la qualite super ,une deco tres jolie dans ce jardin terrasse et du meme style qu a ibiza pour ceux qui connaissent. L experience etait parfaite , nous sommes partis les derniers et tres satisfaits. Prix pour 2 , 116 eur !!!!

Sollte das Wetter einmal nicht mitspielen, wird dieser Bereich flexibel und elegant überdacht, sodass Gäste auch bei Regen den Außenbereich genießen können, ohne auf Komfort verzichten zu müssen. Die Atmosphäre verbindet ruhige Idylle mit lebendiger Gastfreundschaft, und die Küche überzeugt durch frische, authentische Gerichte, die perfekt zum Ambiente passen. Intanto il luogo meriterebbe gia una visita: il ristorante si trova in un palazzo antico e si apre in un pergolato interno di viti sotto le quali sono apparecchiati i tavoli. Una meraviglia. Ma il meglio arriva per il cibo: si mangia molto bene e con gusto. Ricette veneziane e non solo, con un pesce freschissimo e piatti oramai introvabili come i b...

Intanto il luogo meriterebbe gia una visita: il ristorante si trova in un palazzo antico e si apre in un pergolato interno di viti sotto le quali sono apparecchiati i tavoli. Una meraviglia. Ma il meglio arriva per il cibo: si mangia molto bene e con gusto. Ricette veneziane e non solo, con un pesce freschissimo e piatti oramai introvabili come i bovoletti. Il baccalà mantecato e’ una nuvola che accarezza il palato e si scioglie in bocca, le sarde in saor delicatissime. Solo due esempi di tanta buonissima cucina (eravamo tanti e ci siamo scambiati qualche boccone e qui scrivo a ragion veduta). In questo ristorante si cucina davvero e di questi tempi è una rarità. Buoni anche i dolci e a Venezia non è scontato. E dopo tanta bontà, arriva il conto che è onesto. Incredibile ma vero! Ho ritrovato la Venezia di 20-30 anni fa in tutti i suoi pregi e senza nessuno dei difetti.

Few steps away from the hustle of San Marco, you follow your path through lovely bridges and alleys, that become gradually calmer and greener, until you are welcomed by a smile in Severino restaurant, where they open for you the secret doors of one of the most ancient palace in Venice (dated sixteenth century) and one of its most beautiful gardens. A rare pearl set among Venice canals and palaces where you’ll eat in a joyful atmosphere under a pergola of fresh green leaves. The service is fast and our lunch proceeded very smoothly with all our orders arriving at the right time. We ordered mainly fish - based dishes, scampi, crab, spaghetti con le vongole, octopus, so tasty and fresh that you didn’t even need any other dressing. This restaurant is ideal for a very romantic dinner in the evening far from the noise or a festive lunch with the family. You can enjoy also typical Venice dishes such as snails (bigoli), Venetian liver with polenta, cod with butter (baccala’ mantecato), the restaurant is one of the best place in Venice where taste typical dishes.

Un disastro! Antipasti di pesce acidi e maleodoranti, porzioni ridicole nonostante il prezzo elevato. Due primi, una lasagna di pesce tirata fuori dal frigo: insapore, con pesce inesistente e visibilmente vecchia. L’altro primo, una pasta alle vongole talmente salata da risultare immangiabile. L’abbiamo fatta cambiare e ce l’hanno riportata esatta...

They have gluten free marked on the menu and take it seriously - they are recognised by the Italian coeliac association. Prices are as you’d expect for a restaurant like this in Venice. Starters €14-€22. Mains €20-€25. Bottle of water €4 Glad to see service is still not included and when I wanted to give it I was told to leave cash. Unfortunately some restaurants in Venice now charge service. Here it’s at your discretion and you can round up the amount of your bill or leave a bit more according to the service you got. This will be one to book for a future visit.
