L'attenzione e la cura che Andrea dedica ad ogni singolo piatto è magistrale. Il suo temperamento artistico è unico, nonché la sua spontaneità e il suo savoire faire impeccabili! È stato bellissimo festeggiare qui la mia laurea, una perla di spicco tra tutti questi posti sempre piu anonimi e dozzinali!

We decided to be a bit adventurous, trying the rabbit and the donkey. Both were wonderful, served on a bed of baba ganush. Carbonara was also delicious. We made reservations at Ai Pie del Ponte last night after hearing amazing things and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip so far. This hidden gem offered not just a meal, but an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed like old friends. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy, tucked away from the crowds of Venice, and the passion behind the food was immediately clear. The most incredible part? The owner personally cooks every dish. You can taste the love and care in every bite. Each course was perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. We’ve had some fantastic meals on this trip, but this one easily takes the top spot. If you're looking for a truly authentic, heartfelt Venetian meal, Ai Pie del Ponte is an absolute must. Siamo stati accolti con un sorriso e una gentilezza genuina da Andrea, unico gestore del ristorante nonché cuoco e perfetto oste. Fin da subito ci siamo sentiti a casa: l’ambiente è intimo e raccolto, semplice ma ricco di calore umano, perfetto per una cena rilassata e autentica. Andrea ci ha accompagnato in un viaggio nei sapori veneziani con piatti abbondanti, preparati tutti al momento con ingredienti di ottima qualità. Abbiamo iniziato con un delizioso antipasto: carciofi e primo sale stagionato per me, e un fantastico tris di specialità veneziane per mio marito, con baccalà mantecato, sarde in saor e altre prelibatezze. A seguire, pasta con nero di seppia e seppie in umido con carciofi: sapori intensi ma equilibrati, pieni di carattere e tradizione. Il tiramisù fatto al momento ha concluso la cena in modo eccellente: delicato, per niente stucchevole, davvero uno dei migliori mai provati. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino selezionato con cura. L’atmosfera è tranquilla e conviviale, arricchita dal contatto diretto con Andrea che, tra una portata e l’altra, si ferma a scambiare due chiacchiere, raccontando aneddoti e curiosità culinarie. Si crea un clima di familiarità anche tra i commensali, tanto che sembra davvero di essere ospiti a cena da un amico appassionato e talentuoso. I tempi tra una portata e l’altra sono quelli giusti per godersi l’esperienza e riflettono l’attenzione che Andrea dedica a ogni piatto. I prezzi sono assolutamente adeguati alla qualità eccellente degli ingredienti e al lavoro artigianale che c’è dietro. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a chi cerca autenticità, sapori veri e un’accoglienza sincera. Spero davvero di tornarci presto!

This is truly a hidden gem in Venice and a MUST visit. My boyfriend and I had the most amazing experience, not to mention the BEST food we have ever had. All’interno ovviamente solo turisti e quando chiediamo il conto ci viene detto 115€ anzi 110€ e subito dopo notiamo sullo scontrino fiscale 30€! Visto che siamo italiani p...

Locale carino, con pochi posti all’interno e quei pochi uno attaccato all’altro. Il proprietario del locale è la solita persona che ti apparecchia, prende l’ordinazione e cucina. All’interno ovviamente solo turisti e quando chiediamo il conto ci viene detto 115€ anzi 110€ e subito dopo notiamo sullo scontrino fiscale 30€! Visto che siamo italiani poteva avere un occhio di riguardo e siccome ti abbiamo lasciato 110€ in 2 e lui ne a dichiarati 30 doveva farci più sconto perché l’IVA su 80€ non dichiarati è 17,6€. Una delle cene migliori che abbia mai fatto a Venezia — davvero! Il ristorante è accogliente e intimo (ho adorato la luce delle candele!) e l’oste — che è anche lo chef — gestisce tutto da solo. Ma che spettacolo! È cordiale, simpatico e si vede che mette passione in quello che fa. Il menù è tradizionale (sono veneta, quindi posso dirlo) ma con un tocco personale. Si percepisce la cura nella scelta degli ingredienti e l’amore con cui cucina: piatti genuini, autentici, ma con una nota di raffinatezza. Abbiamo preso gli spaghetti alle vongole — spettacolari — e la carbonara rivisitata dallo chef, probabilmente la migliore che abbia mai assaggiato. Poi coniglio e stufato d’asino, entrambi ricchi e saporiti. E per finire, una carta dei vini ben pensata, con proposte naturali. Un vero gioiello — autentico, affascinante, perfetto per una persona del luogo o per turisti che vogliono assaggiare cucina veneziana autentica.
