Amazing food & service right in the historic downtown of Lucca. It is tucked away in a quieter area. Inside & outside dining available. The menu is hard to choose from. Based upon other things passing by, I don’t think you can go wrong. We shared the pasta first course, and the chef was kind enough to proportion everything to individual plates

Locale carino in una Lucca stupenda. Servizio e portate non sono all altezza per rapporto qualità prezzi. Anche la carta vini ha prezzi elevati. Forse è un'offerta rivolta al turismo di passo.

Das Restaurant haben wir zufällig entdeckt; sodann sind wir spontan hier eingekehrt zum Mittagessen. Das Personal war sehr höflich und kompetent. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Insgesamt ein tolles und sehr entspanntes Erlebnis.

Wir sind Abends in Lucca angekommen und haben durch Zufall das Restaurant gefunden. Wir haben Draußen gegessen und es hat und sehr gut gefallen. Die Atmosphäre war sehr schön und romantisch. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch der Service hat gut gepasst. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Our first visit after some time, party of eight for Sunday lunch, and a number of improvements were noted. It remains a charming place to eat, a series of rooms with their own character, and lots of drawings from visiting artists. Good menu of basics, and our party of eight chose rabbit, beef and delicious tuna as mains. A number of creative crepes as primi, and some extraordinary light and tasty desserts. Good wine list, including local wines of character. The menu is bi lingual, very clear, and great care has been taken to identify which dish might trigger what allergy. We brought a vocal five month year old who was welcomed by the helpful staff. I look forward to our next visit.

L'esperienza presso questo ristorante, che sembra rivolgersi principalmente a un pubblico di stranieri facoltosi, ci lascia sempre con la sensazione che "se qualcosa non va, la colpa è nostra che da Lucchesi lo sappiamo". Ogni volta è un po' come un déjà vu: dobbiamo dimenticare la visita precedente prima di considerare di tornare. Il problema non risiede in difetti clamorosi, è un buon ristorante, quanto piuttosto in una serie di piccoli dettagli che, al momento del conto, assumono proporzioni significative. La serata di ieri, ad esempio, con un antipasto, un secondo e mezza bottiglia di vino per due persone, è costata 146€. A fronte di questo prezzo, il rapporto qualità-prezzo offerto, il servizio al tavolo, non ci soddisfa appieno, specialmente considerando le numerose alternative che abbiamo sia in città che fuori. In ogni modo sosteniamo con quattro stelle sperando di poterne mettere cinque la prossima.

This restaurant was a nice change from all of the pasta and pizza we were eating. It was a fine dining restaurant that had unique dishes and delicious food. I ordered the rabbit loin and it was perfectly cooked. Other dishes we ordered were the veal steak and the rack of lamb. All of these dishes were beautifully cooked and we loved each one of the...

This restaurant was a nice change from all of the pasta and pizza we were eating. It was a fine dining restaurant that had unique dishes and delicious food. I ordered the rabbit loin and it was perfectly cooked. Other dishes we ordered were the veal steak and the rack of lamb. All of these dishes were beautifully cooked and we loved each one of them.

We revisited All ‘Olivo and were not disappointed. The restaurant has both outside and inside serving. Everywhere the atmosphere is very pleasant. Inside, there is a living-room feeling which is further augmented by a low noise level in the restaurant, which gives it an exclusiveness found only rarely. The food is exquisite. The Amuse-bouches are always different and really delicious; one time a small piece of veal and mashed potato and a delicious sauce, another time a mussel stuffed with meat and with olive oil. The menu card holds both traditional Lucchese dishes, and more international courses. The lamb is unforgettable and likewise the duck. The wine list is extensive covering most of Italy and abroad. The service is professional and kind. We can highly recommend All’ Olivo – it is truly a top-class restaurant.

Malgré les prix élevés nous avons suivi le conseil du réceptionniste de l'hôtel, et nous n'avons pas été déçus . La cuisine est fantastique et le choix de vins impressionnant. De plus, le service était parfait, et l'atmosphère feutrée très appréciable.

Siamo venuti a cena per il nostro anniversario e siamo rimasti colpiti dalla gentilezza e cura con cui tutto il personale ti accoglie. Il locale è ben curato, intimo e caloroso, la cucina stupisce con la semplicità degli ingredienti sapientemente cucinati. E Katia (Spero di aver scritto bene il tuo nome) la cameriera che ci ha seguiti, è stata incredibile. Vi ringrazio ancora tutti per la serata che ci avete regalato, bravissimi!

Cercavamo un posto accogliente e curato , e lo abbiamo trovato all’olivo . Locale pieno di dettagli , che racconta la storia del ristorante .. composto da tre piccole salette tutte molto particolari. Il menù è vario con proposte curiose sia di mare sia di terra , ma anche con piatti tipici . Il personale è tutto al femminile , Gentile e simpati...

Sono rimasta insoddisfatta dalla quantità del cibo nei piatti e dai prezzi elevati. L’insalata di pesce, aveva più insalata che pesce. Il piatto di polipo conteneva pure’ con due tentacoli e i paccheri erano proprio poco.

L'antipasto, seppia grigliata con verdure, molto buono ma minimalista nelle quantità, i primi piatti, uno ravioli ricotta e spianci l'altro non ricordo, buoni ma niente di eccezionale. Ottimo il vino. Il conto nella media dei locali segnalati Michelin (circa € 20 a portata).
