The main production is the Vernaccia, Italy's first appellation contrôlée white wine. The red wines are also important, proving the land and climate to be ideal for top quality. The Chianti and the Paretaio are valuable examples of Sangiovese; the Campora, the real pride and joy of the production, has been appreciated since its first, exceptional year in 1985.
